ARMOS undertook the pre-construction and erection of the new industrial aluminum extrusion facilities of Cosmos Aluminum SA. in Larissa.
Cosmos Aluminum’s investment took part in 2 phases, and ARMOS was selected in both phases as the main supplier for the pre-fabrication of the buildings.
The first phase of the project included the new industrial extrusion unit, a building with a total area of 12,000 sq.m. consisting of covered industrial chambers and warehouses.
The second phase of the project, which followed a year later, concerned a 5,000 sq.m. dyehouse building.
The framework of the buildings was made up of prefabricated columns, trusses, beams and purlins which, after their production in the Larissa factory, were transported and erected on the project by the company’s specialized workshop.
ARMOS completed the production of the prefabricated elements of the buildings in less than 5 months, thus meeting the demanding project schedule.
