ARMOS undertook the construction of the unique facade of the new AEK stadium, using precast Glass Fiber Concrete (GFRC) panels.
The project challenge was to find a material capable of producing complex 3D surfaces and at the same timehave thee strength and durability required for a stadium.
For the construction of the facade, ARMOS produced more than 600 precast GRC panels, with a thickness of only 1.5 cm, in sand-stone color and with a smooth texture, obtained by special production techniques.
