The company has more than 260 acres of privately owned facilities in Greece and North Macedonia, namely:
- Larisa, central factory. The company’s central factory is located in Larissa, in a privately owned area of 190 acres. The installation of 35,000m² covered industrial premises, where more than 15 departments and production lines are developed. It is a fully vertically integrated prefabrication unit as it operates an independent steel processing department and concrete batching plant, thus making the unit the company’s largest plant.In addition, the Larissa facility has the largest storage areas and has a maximum capacity of 500m3 of concrete produced per day. The facility is fully compliant with the company’s health and safety rules, meets all the environmental requirements of the law and is certified according to ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001.The facility houses the offices of the central administration as well as supporting functions. The facility employs approximately 150 full-time employees. The Larissa facility currently serves pre-construction needs throughout Greece. It also serves the local market by trading in concrete and formed steel.
- Oinofyta. The company’s second pre-fabrication factory is located in Oinofyta in Viotia. On an area of 60 acres, multiple production lines and product storage areas are being developed. The total capacity of the factory exceeds 260m3 of concrete produced per day. The facility houses the offices of the regional unit and employs 50 permanent and seasonal workers.
- Aktio. A production unit of safety barriers. In Aktio, the company’s production unit for DB safety parapets operates, to serve the Aktio-Ambrakia highway project. The unit has received the necessary EN1317-5 certification for the production of certified parapets and the products are CE marked, in accordance with current European regulations.
- Kumanovo, North Macedonia. In the Kumanovo industrial area of North Macedonia and on a privately owned area of 15 acres, the company’s newest prefabrication plant is being developed. It is a modern prefab factory built in early 2022 and has 4,000m² of covered industrial space. The facility includes a concrete batching plant, for the company’s own needs, a steel forming department and production lines for sleepers, barriers and elements of industrial buildings. The facility houses the headquarters of ARMOS BALKAN DOO and employs 40 permanent and seasonal workers.
