One of the rally world’s most legendary events – the Acropolis Rally of Gods – returned to Athens last September, after an eight-year absence. Since its debut in 1951, the Acropolis Rally has built a cult following and is considered one of the World Rally Championship’s most fearsome and glorious rounds.
Not since Mexico City’s Zócalo square hosted a pulsating speed test in 2017 had the WRC experienced anything similar until EKO Acropolis Rally Greece celebrated its championship return with a spectacular Athens prologue last September.
After the start ceremony beneath the famous Acropolis (9/9/2021), Thursday evening’s Cosmote 5G Athens Stage witnessed the WRC’s superstars blasting around the city’s Syntagma Square. Armos S.A. | Precast Concrete Construction & DELTABLOC International GmbH couldn’t miss this spectacular event and with our DB 80 & SB70B precast safety barriers, we ensured the protection of the spectators along this special race track.
