In the context of the Environmental Management of Nea Odos Concession Project and with regards of the increasing use of environmentally friendly materials in its activities, Nea Odos has chosen to replace part of the already installed transparent glass sound barriers with sound-absorbing prefabricated panels of the Phonobloc type from ARMOS.
The replacement was carried out in the area of Kifissia, specifically in a section where sound barriers acoustically protect the 3rd High School and the Municipality’s Multi-Purpose Hall, at the 22nd km in the traffic stream heading towards Athens.
The new sound barriers are ecologically sustainable, 100% recyclable, have high sound absorption and great durability with zero maintenance needs.
