The 8th International Conference on Road Safety & Simulation 2022 (RSS2022) was held with great success on 08-10 June 2022 at the Zappeion Megaro in Athens, organized by the National Technical University of Athens (ETU) and the Hellenic Transport Association (HTA) under the auspices of of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport and the Municipality of Athens.
The main objective of the Conference was to improve the existing scientific knowledge in the field of road safety and contribute to the reduction of the number of deaths and injuries from road accidents worldwide, by discussing and promoting innovative road safety research and applications in the digital age.
350 road safety scientists from 31 countries participated in this first post-pandemic international road safety conference discussing the current and future challenges of Road Safety in the Digital Age.
